About Ranikhet:  This quiet little hill station was conceived by the British in the Kumaon Himalayas. Charmingly un-spoilt natural beauty, serene and quiet, away from the hustle & bustle of hectic city life offers breathtaking views of mighty Himalayas. The small hill town, at an altitude of approx. 6000 ft., is amazingly peaceful and secure because of omnipresent Kumaon Regimental centre (KRC), making the city a very orderly and clean haven for those starving for seclusion and security. Its beauty is age old churches and highly revered ancient temples, apart from the lush green stretches of meandering roads lined with really old Devdaar trees. One can still come across wild life while driving. Chirping of various species of birds and watching them spread their multi colored wings is a passion and a must-do while staying here. Snow fall in Ranikhet is also adequate and lets the tourists as well as permanent residents enjoy the climate.

LOCATION -Ranikhet is primarily a cantonment inside which, Land cannot be bought on freehold basis. The nearest settlement from Ranikhet is Machkhali where Land is now not available in adequate quantity and on affordable rates to make a society.
